ISC History

The Internet Seminole Club (ISC) was founded with the idea of uniting Alumni and friends of the University who are displaced geographically or otherwise prohibited from forming, or becoming physically involved in, a local Alumni or Booster club. The initial organizational meeting was held, in message-board format, during a 24-hour period on Thursday-Friday August 28-29, 1997. This launched what we believe to be the first-ever Internet-Based Club of Alumni and Friends for any University.

ISC Mission Statement

The primary goal of the ISC is to provide an opportunity for the thousands of alumni and friends of the University, who make use of the internet, to feel a renewed tie to the University by joining the ISC. The tangible benefits to each member and the University can become great; intangible benefits, such as increased comaraderie among geographically isolated alumni and friends, already are mounting.

This website and its subsequent incarnations should improve dramatically as we progress. We thank you for your interest and your patience.
